JR SKOLA | ENGINEER, SOUND DESIGNER, FOUNDER JR first discovered his love for sounds as a kid, while sleeping outdoors during cicada season. Later, as a film student in New York, his fascination grew by way of the many films, installations, experiments, and compositions he created during that time. Today he approaches audio as a medium for communication, creative expression, and social progress, rather than as a technical tool or fixed process. His work has been heard around the world, including in two film projects which premiered at the Venice Biennale.
